Finally back in Dallas, what an eventful weekend.
Thursday - Headed down to Austin w/ Alicia, met up with some spring 11 and went to District lounge…lost my keys & 50 bucks somehow -__-
Friday - Convention begins, met up with all the OU bros, had showcase, and partied at Isis? Don’t know why it was open….it was so damn hot inside because of so many gdi’s..Chilantros made up for it.
Saturday - Woke up early for meetings, this UH charter told me to marry a girl more frugal than me….hahah. Mixed with UCSD, UIUC, Rutgers and Toronto. Then we went to Stereo live, had a good time..but had some creepy girls kept following me…crashed at Westin. Apparently we got evicted from Intercontinental for drug reasons but thats dumb because no one was on/doing anything….so everyone else moved to La Quinta.
Sunday - Woke up and went to expansion meeting….we finally got Associates Status! Then we had banquet they introduced Georgia, Duke, and OU as the newest associate chapters during roll call…so we thought UTD didn’t get Active chapter. Then later they surprised everyone with Dallas getting Alpha Omicron chapter, pretty good night for Southwest. Then we drank with OU akdphi as they celebrated with us.
Great weekend, met a lot of people and I probably forgot most of their names but I’m definitely looking forward to Convention 2013 thats rumored to be in Florida.
